My values

Marketing is a tricky business and I know how daunting it can be; it’s hard to know who to trust and unfortunately many firms out there are not what they seem.

Put simply, I stand for honest, straightforward marketing and I aim to have a transparent and clear relationship with all my clients.

I have put together these terms to clarify my working practices. Please feel free to contact me at faith@faithliversedge.com if you have any questions.

How I work with clients

Unless otherwise stated, these terms apply to all client work undertaken.

I operate as a UK Limited Company registered in England and all my client work is processed through that company.

At the outset of work, I will provide you with a statement of work which sets out deliverables, costings and estimate timeframes, if applicable. The statement of work will set out in writing the specifics of work to be done.

I offer several ‘packages’ of work as well as bespoke client work, on arrangement.

Payment

Unless otherwise stated, payment should be made via bank transfer to the nominated account on invoices.

For project work, 50% of work is due upfront, the remaining 50% being due upon project completion, eg: a website launch unless otherwise agreed

For ongoing work, such as a retainer to provide content marketing services, fees are due on a monthly basis and should be paid via standing order, unless otherwise agreed.

In some circumstances such as fees for website hosting, I take payment via credit/debit card on a monthly basis. In such situations, the terms of this will be stated on the statement of work at the outset of the project.

For international clients, I can take payment via international bank transfer or via credit/debit card, in these circumstances, specific payment terms would be agreed in advance.

I use Stripe as a payment gateway for all credit/debit card transactions. For more information about Stripe’s privacy practices please see: https://stripe.com/en-gb/privacy

Client data

For information about data handling and privacy, please see my privacy policy.

My expectations of you

I and my team will go out of our way to ensure that you are happy with any work we do. If you are unhappy, please talk to me and I will do my best to resolve any issues.

However, this also goes in two ways. I expect you to conduct yourself professionally and be reasonable in your dealings with myself and my team.

I have the right to end my working relationship with you if you behave unreasonably.

Termination

If you wish to cancel a project prior to its completion, the initial 50% is not refundable.

I may wave this in exceptional circumstances. In the event of cancellation of a project before its completion, I will not release the work done up until this point, unless an arrangement is agreed otherwise.

Disclaimer

I cannot be held liable for any loss or damage incurred as a result of marketing activity undertaken.

We also cannot be held liable for any issues or problems which arise that are outside of our control. This includes, but is not limited to, technical failure, site ranking on search engines, changes in terms and conditions of third-party software providers etc. We will always do our best to rectify any issue you face, but we cannot be liable for that which we cannot control.

Furthermore, while we will endeavour and do our utmost to deliver results for you we cannot ‘guarantee’ results. At its most philosophical, all marketing activities aim to persuade human beings to act and, humans are unpredictable. Any estimates we give regarding: traffic, conversions etc. are just that, estimates, and should be treated as such.

Jurisdiction

Unless otherwise agreed, all disputes will be subject to the sole jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
