Welcome to The Naked Adviser. Do you like the new look?
So what is this?
Weren’t you listening last week?! Just kidding.
We’re in the midst of a digital revolution, fast-tracked by the pandemic. At the same time, the advice profession is evolving rapidly too. I speak to advice and planning firms, and their clients – people on the front line – about this every day.
And the conversations I have are so wide-ranging, thought-provoking and just so damn interesting, that they’re worth sharing.
But the thing is, they’re not just confined to marketing and communications.
They cover tech, proposition, referrals, fees, recruitment, lifestyle, all sorts. All areas we, as a profession, are navigating in a new way, post pandemic.
The Naked Adviser will share these insights so you can take what you like and embed them into your own business. The hacks, the insights, the win-wins that the crème de la crème of advisers are using to navigate this brave new world.
Feel free to send me your own tips and tricks, breakthroughs and solutions or questions and concerns, and together we’ll build an adviser for the future.
What about me?
Don’t worry, I’ll always start with my own musings, but they’ll have more of an in-depth tone to them this time round, to get you really thinking – and smiling (I hope).
I'd love to know what you think of this one, and the new regime. Just contact me.

8/10 firms are now welcoming clients from all over the UK, rather than simply focusing on their local area. And 96% of new tech implemented by firms as a result of the pandemic will remain in place. That’s according to the latest findings from the Nucleus census.
